Redwood SAP B

Redwood Siding SAP B Prices

Sap "B" is a quality redwood grade containing more sapwood, limited knots and other characteristics not permitted in All Heart B or Clear grades. Down one grade (and a few dollars per sqft) from CLEAR, Sap B "Near Clear" redwood grade allows a few small knots but preserves the beauty and appearance of this majestic wood.

Sap B grade Redwood is known for the stark contrast in colors from the smooth cream of the sap streaks to the dark reds of the heartwood.

The contrast is "absolutely magnificent" according to one of our customers who loved this wood on her home.

Some of our customers tone the contrast with a "redwood" tinted stain. The customer below installed Sap B Redwood Siding on his Timber Frame home on the Hudson River in New York. The blend of Heart & Sapwood color contrast set his place apart from everyone in the neighborhood.

He used a semi-transparent stain with redwood tint to smooth the contrasting natural sapwood cream color with the heartwood red - Redwood Timberframe home sided with Redwood Sap B grade 1x8 Rabbeted Bevel.

I think SAP B Redwood is the best value we have in appearance grade sidings. It comes with spectacular visual appeal and can be had with very few knots at a similar cost of knotty cedar.

REDWOOD PRICING By SQUARE FOOT

Understanding our Prices: We price redwood siding by the square foot. Give us a call to speak with one of our wood siding experts about price per square foot. If you know your approximate square footage, our wood siding experts can multiply it by the price per square foot so that you have a better idea of what your redwood siding will cost you. Price per square foot changes based on quantity or volume ordered. The finish price may include your redwood siding plus one coat factory stained or primed.

We give “ballpark” prices to help you plan your project. Due to global uncertainty we are unable to guarantee those prices because prices may fluctuate. Price is only locked in once you've placed your order.
Please call 877-960-9663 or email sales@buffalolumber.com for updated pricing on all projects. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Life teaches 1 rule: It costs 10 TIMES MORE to fix something that goes wrong than it would to do the job the exact right way in the first place. Buffalo Lumber offers a comprehensive system to do redwood wood siding the right way and it starts with factory finish. Why put your building and your wallet at risk?

YOU HAVE TO BACK SEAL! IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THE JOB RIGHT YOU CANNOT FINISH BETTER THAN MACHINES CAN!!

The biggest and most frequent mistake we see people make is thinking they can just tack cedar siding up and stain the face to save money. This is the Worst Thing you can Possibly do with Wood Siding!

The problem is water. Water gets behind the wood and causes problems. By the time you realize there is a problem the cost to repair it is in the thousands or tens of thousands.

99% of all reported siding failures are installation related. That puts a pretty big onus on preparation. Doing the job exactly the right way is worth its weight in gold when you consider that anything that goes wrong costs multiple thousands of dollars to address.

BENEFITS OF MILL PRE-FINISH

8 hours a day, 5 days a week we get calls about wood siding and the number 1 reported reason we get called is the wood siding on the house now is failing because it was not sealed on the back.

The average cost for one of our customers to repair cedar siding is well over $5000. We have a $5000 order minimum + they have labor.
