Our B Grade (nearly knot free) - CLEAR (completely knot free) - CLEAR ALL HEART (just perfect) redwood Siding grades can’t be found many other places on the planet than Buffalo Lumber.

Our STK Select Tight Knot Redwood Siding is milled from a concommon grade redwood board containing a combination of heartwood and sapwood. Knotty redwood lumber is not usually milled into redwood Siding. This is an incredible opportunity to buy a rustic redwood siding with all the moisture and insect resistance and natural beauty that no other softwood can match! Our seasoned, kiln dried knotty redwood Siding is NOT a downgrade. All tongues will be there, all grooves will be there. Every redwood board will be usable. There will be some knots you will work around. Mainly it is incredible redwood at incredible redwood prices.

Our Red Cedar Siding patterns include 2x8 log siding, 1x8 rabbeted bevel siding, 1x10 Channel Rustic and T&G panels with a reversible smooth and rough face. These beautiful Western Red Cedar OnGrade siding products are available Pre-stained Partially Air Dried (PAD) or Kiln-Dried STK. Kiln-Dried patterns can be ordered raw or pre-stained. Call for quotes on different grades and red cedar trim and lumber.

Exterior Pine Siding: Our T&G Ponderosa Pine siding is end matched!. The great thing about end-matched is that it cuts down on installation and maximizes use of the wood. You do not have to run it from stud to stud, it fits together on the ends so you can run it and tack it as you go. This significantly reduces the amount of measuring and cutting in each job - a dream come true for installers. The results are 15-20% labor savings and up to 20% less material waste. Like all sapwoods pine siding requires moisture protection in the form of pre-priming or pre-staining. Technology has advanced the science of wood treatments. This has opened the door for a whole new line of economical wood species that create beautiful wood sided homes with a little TLC.

Our discount pine siding is a #3 wood DownGrade and better. It is the "and better" that makes this an attractive wood siding product. Better means that the mill throws in a good percentage of #2 and even a small percentage of #1. Our pine panels are not all perfect. Some boards will have small chips, dings and nicks - usually on the TnG edges - hidden when installed as interior knotty pine wall paneling or exterior white pine siding. Beautiful white knotty pine wood siding at a 30 to 50% price savings! Many of our customers have used our knotty pine for Interior Knotty Pine Paneled walls.

California White Fir is a stable sturdy wood, produced in mass quantities and used in products from 2x4 structural to exterior siding. White Fir exterior siding like all softwood siding requires moisture protection in the form of pre-priming or pre-staining. Technology has advanced the science of wood treatments. This has opened the door for a whole new line of economical wood species that create beautiful products with a little TLC. Characteristics: fine, non-resinous, straight-grained, uniform textured white wood with slight reddish tinge, permits easy working, is easily dressed, sanded and glued, holds paint and enamel well, White fir produces a top quality siding that lasts the lifetime of the structure when treated properly.

Wood Siding and paneling is sold by the linear (or lineal) foot. Your quantity requirements are calculated by multiplying the square foot area by a factor based on the wood siding width.

A) Calculate the square footage in walls: length x height = sq. ft.
B) Calculate, and then subtract, the square footage of openings
C) Add 10% to cover trim and waste
D) Multiply the result by the factor for lineal feet

T&G example: If you are paneling four walls 8 feet high by 40 feet long with 1x6" Tongue and Groove wood siding and we allow 10% of the total square feet for openings, you would need approximately 2200 linear feet:

4 * 8 * 40 = 1280 SQ FT - 128 (10% openings) + 115 (10% trim/waste)
  = 1267 SQ FT * 2.40 linear factor = 3041 LFT

LAP example: If you are paneling four walls 8 feet high by 40 feet long with 1x8" Lap siding and we allow 10% of the total square feet for openings, you would need approximately 2200 linear feet:

4 * 8 * 40 = 1280 SQ FT - 128 (10% openings) + 115 (10% trim/waste)
  = 1267 SQ FT * 1.81 linear factor = 2293 LFT

Each delivery is quoted individually after the products have been selected. We carry products from suppliers located all across the country. Each delivery will be calculated based on location of customer, location of product manufacturer and weight of total shipment.
 
Mill Direct to You – Freight brokered straight to customer (this requires the customer have enough room to fit a semi truck into and out of the delivery area, customer provides forklift to unload at job site) 3 to 4 week average turnaround.
