This Buffalo Lumber pine paneling original is hand stained by our craftsmen, coated with a clear polyurethane finish then hit with ultra-violet light. The result is beautiful paneling showing all the natural wood character and grain with a rich, glowing sheen. Take a close look at the wood. Every grain, every pattern, every nuance is highlighted by the hand staining process. 
We are incredibly impressed with our supplier of knotty ponderosa pine paneling. The Select Tight Knot (STK) paneling quality has been consistently high with well machined edges and usability that often exceeds 90%. Our discount pine siding is a #3 wood DownGrade and better. It is the "and better" that makes this an attractive wood siding product. Better means that the mill throws in a good percentage of #2 and even a small percentage of #1. Our pine panels are not all perfect. Some boards will have small chips, dings and nicks - usually on the TnG edges - hidden when installed as interior knotty pine wall paneling or exterior white pine siding. Wood Siding and paneling is sold by the linear (or lineal) foot. Your quantity requirements are calculated by multiplying the square foot area by a factor based on the wood siding width.
T&G example: If you are paneling four walls 8 feet high by 40 feet long with 1x6" Tongue and Groove wood paneling and we allow 10% of the total square feet for openings, you would need approximately 2200 linear feet:
4 * 8 * 40 = 1280 SQ FT - 128 (10% openings) + 115 (10% trim/waste)
LAP example: If you are paneling four walls 8 feet high by 40 feet long with 1x8" Lap paneling and we allow 10% of the total square feet for openings, you would need approximately 2200 linear feet:
4 * 8 * 40 = 1280 SQ FT - 128 (10% openings) + 115 (10% trim/waste)
